BHOPAL, INDIA, August 29, 2001: The Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh, Sri S.C. Tripathi, has issued an order to have all the pictures of Gods and Goddesses removed from the police stations of Bhopal. In an interview given to Aaj Tak Channel, Tripathi said that some of the heads of police stations had the pictures of Gods and Goddesses in their rooms and were offering garlands to them everyday as they were worshipping them.
