SUVA, FIJI, March 7, 2004: The Brahmin Sabha of Fiji has lodged an official complaint with the Immigration Department on foreign palm readers in the country. Sabha President Vivekanand Sharma says, they suspect the palm readers are deliberately defrauding the public by playing on their insecurities. The organization says some palm readers have reportedly charging their clients hundreds of dollars to get rid of their problems. It is understood that the palm readers charge a minimal amount for the first session where they highlight what all ails the client and offer to get rid of their problems for a much larger sum. Sharma says these people are using the cover of religion to make money for themselves.
