LEICESTER, ENGLAND, May 21, 2004: Leicester: Preparations for one of the biggest-ever gatherings of young Hindus in Europe are well under way in Leicester. The city has been chosen to host Get Connected (Leicester Extravaganza) 2004 later this summer, and is already promising to make a huge impact. The event is organized by Hindu Youth UK (HYUK), and aims to raise awareness and provide an informative insight into the multi-faceted aspects of Hindu culture. Visitors will get an opportunity to enjoy, experience and interact with different aspects of Hindu culture via special zones such as food, culture, spirituality, temple and music. Get Connected is aimed towards people from all backgrounds and walks of life, particularly young people. The never-seen-before event in Leicester hopes to attract thousands of visitors over the two days. The free event will run on August 14 and 15 at Leicester Racecourse, Oadby.
