SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA, June 8, 2004: A benefit concert for the Kauai Iraivan Temple will be held September 18, 2004, from 4 to 7 pm at the Anthony Soto theatre at CET, 701 Vine Street, San Jose. It will feature Odissi dancer, Asako Takami, one of the foremost of our times, as well as the young and accomplished bharata natyam dancers Venita Katir and Yatrika Ajaya. Also featured are Srinivas Reddy on Sitar, Raja Sivamani on Veena, Ferhan Qureshi on table, Prashant Subbarao on Mridangam and Jothi Param, carnatic vocals.
