STRILKY, CZECH REPUBLIC, August 6, 2004: An International Children Peace Conference initiated by His Holiness Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Swami Maheshwarananda, the author of the world renowned system of Yoga in Daily Life shall take place on August 12, 2004. It will be conducted in the beautiful area of the International Yoga-in-Daily-Life Centre in Strilky, Czech Republic. This event is supported by the wife of former President Vaclav Havel and numerous representatives of Czech culture, politics and religion. Children and youth from 10 European countries and the USA are gathering to discuss the most urgent matters of today’s world — questions of peace and spiritual values in modern society.



Following the success of the first conference from 2003, many children have been enthusiastically involved in the preparations of the coming event. They have prepared papers, cultural programs and workshops. The younger ones have drawn pictures and decorations, prepared songs and poems. The topics which the children themselves have selected for this conference focus on a better future of all humankind. The motto being: HOW TO BRING MORE LOVE TO THE WORLD. Sample topics are: “How to create better relationships between humans?,” “Can I enrich the world with love myself?” and “Tolerance among religions, cultures and all nations.” For more information, contact “source” above.
