BERKSHIRE, UK, February 26, 2005: The World Council of the Elders is a non-political, non-religious, non-profit, socio-culture forum, which intends to provide a platform for the elders of the ancient traditions and cultures of the world. There are over 750 members of the World Council representing more than 75 different cultures of the world from over 60 different countries. A few of many aims and objectives of this council are to provide a platform to the elders to come together and discuss respective traditions, exchange ideas & thoughts, to explore the possible similarities between the traditions, to encourage the possible transfer of the values of life and ways of life to the next generation of our respective tradition. People interested in contributing their views are invited to submit their abstracts and to join the next conference, planned to be on the 10 – 15 February 2006 in Delhi, India.
