LONDON, ENGLAND, May 5, 2005: The Samakti Mission and Hindu Youth UK are presenting an 8-day “katha,” telling of traditional religious stories with song, in English, by Pujya Shree Bupendrabhai Pandya. It will be held at the Harrow Leisure Centre, London from July 24 to July 31. The focus on young people is particularly key to this event, as Pujya Shree Bhupendrabhai is to deliver his discourse in English. Discourses will only be held in the evening to allow young people to finish school, college or work and attend. Pandya said, “Written by Sage Ved Vyasa the Bhagavat leaves no topic untouched – social, political, and economic systems – all these have been covered and commented upon by him. Not just issues relating to self-liberation but even our day-to-day problems have been effectively resolved in Shreemad Bhagavat. Hence it can be emphatically stated that Shreemad Bhagavat is an exposition, which explains human life very clearly, it is a direction leading to the ultimate liberation of the soul.”
