ORLANDO, FLORIDA, October 16, 2005: The Indological Research Foundation (IRF) based in Bangalore, India, presented a Certificate of Global Honor and Deep Appreciation to Sri Braham R. Aggarwal, Chairman, Board of Directors of Hindu University of America, Orlando, and to Professor Ram Rao Pappu, Professor of Religious Studies, Miami University, Ohio, at the 16th International Vedanta conference, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Orlando, on October 15, 2005. The award was given to Sri Braham R. Aggarwal, having recognized his dedicated and selfless service to the cause of Hinduism and Education at the global level. Presenting the award, Dr. Melukote K. Sridhar, the Hon. Director of the IRF and a former Fulbright scholar at the University of South Carolina, said that Sri Braham R. Aggarwal has made untiring efforts in promoting the everlasting values of Hinduism and is also providing education to rural children in India through Ekal Vidyalayas. The award was also given to Professor Ram Rao Pappu, Conference Director of the 16th International Vedanta Conference, for having recognized his remarkable service in propagating and promoting the Vedanta Philosophy at the global level in the last three decades. On August 11, 2005, IRF had the privilege of honoring Gandhian philospher and Fulbright Scholar, Dr. K. L. Seshagiri Rao, Chief Editor, Encyclopedia of Hinduism project (EH). The IRF also honored Mr. Sheshadrivasu Chandrashekaran, a young tech-researcher and an inventor of Multilingual Software called Baraha. The IRF Bangalore is a registered non-profit trust established in 1998 for promoting the cause of Indology, Sanskrit language and literature at the global level.
