HOUSTON, TEXAS, November 24, 2005: During a 14-stop tour of the US in November, Acharya Sant Shri Hari Om Ji of Agra India, spoke on the Hindu way of life and appealed to each audience to take care of their next generation of American born and educated children. He exhorted them to pay attention and behave in a friendly manner toward their children, and provide the right samskaras. He said Hinduism is an all-embracing way of life, a messenger of universal brotherhood, humanism in action and a philosophy to live and let live. He said Hinduism can help bring about the moral regeneration of mankind through inner discipline. He sprinkled his talks with quotes from the Shri Ram Charitra Manas, the life of Lord Rama. He said that there has been no greater contribution to world peace by any other religion than Hinduism. For this the human race should be grateful to the Hinduism, the most precious and wonderful heritage of humanity. The World is suffering because it has ignored the most ancient and time tested wisdom of its mother, Hinduism. He said the world, now sitting on a volcano of armaments, can be saved by following teachings of Hinduism. It needs the nonviolence of Hinduism for its own survival, as war in this violent atomic age can lead to the extinction of the mankind. For more information on the visit, contact “source” above.
