CALGARY, CANADA, May 17, 2006: Swami Ramananda Saraswati Spiritual head of the Divine life Society of Canada and the Sivananda Seva Ashrams has just returned from Tamil Nadu. Swamiji has been renovating and updating the medical center in Cherakulam, Tamil Nadu. This center provide medical care for forty smaller villages in and around Cherakulam, Tutocorin, Tamil Nadu. The medical teams sees 100 patients per day. It has stopped conversions in the village. The village temple is again opened and Swamiji conducted Deepa puja with about three thousand attending.
