SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, August 3, 2006: If you have ideas on how the Hindu concept of dharma can be applied to the worlds’ challenging issues, here’s an opportunity to express yourself. The Hindu Sangam is sponsoring a contest whose objective is to encourage youth to examine the Hindu concept of Dharma from a fresh perspective and ponder its applicability to contemporary human society. The essays will be evaluated in two age groups – under 25 and from 25 to 40. Prizes will be awarded for the top two articles in each age group during the upcoming Hindu Sangam 2006 cultural festival on September 9, 2006. Deadline for paper submission is August 25, 2006.
