LUCKNOW, INDIA, October 1, 2006: For the first time over a dozen Durga Pujas in the city are being telecast live on three channels of Doordarshan. The channels on which the Durga Pujas are being telecast include DD-7 or DD-Bangla, DD’s cultural channel Bharti and the National Network channel or DD-1. Dr. Satish Grover, deputy director general of DDK-L, said, “While a two-member core team has arrived from Delhi, the other technical support is being given by us from Lucknow center and the telecast is going great.” Grover said the center has been given a time slot between 6 pm to 12.20 am on all these channels.
