NEW JERSEY, U.S., October 8, 2006: Indian Culture Society (ICS), Union, New Jersey celebrates Navratri 2006. The U.S.’s biggest Navaratri celebration draws more than 4,000 people from all across the tri-state area, every single night. This year it started on September 23, and continues until October 14th, on Friday and Saturday nights. Due to the overwhelming response and support from the Indian community, ICS organizes the Garba-Raas from 8 p.m. until 2.30 a.m. This celebration is of happiness and observed by Hindus around the world. ICS Union has organized this mega event for the past 15 years, and its Founder J.P. Patel, and President Anil C. Patel along with a committee of 35 volunteers, and trustees of this association work very hard to bring the successful Garba.
