KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, December 21, 2006: The annual December school vacation period is always the period in which numerous Hindu Religious courses are held for students and youths, and also religious teacher training courses for others. Malaysia Hindu Sangam has organized the Pre-School Teacher Training & Religious Teacher Training program. Also, the annual Awakening Camp (Elluchi Mugaam) for youths was also held. Amongst the many member organizations that have been conducting training and spiritual development programs during this period are the Hindu Sevai Sangam, Malaysia Hindu Dharma Mamandram, Divine Life Society and many others. A featured event was HH Swami Tantradeva’s program of giving blessings and inspiring speeches at the Hindu Sevai Sangam’s Students Camp at Port Dickson. Swamiji also inspired the MHS Youth Camp at Sivananda Ashram Batu Caves. Swamiji is a Tamil-speaking American, now living in Sri Lanka. The presence of HH Swami Guhabakthananda and his speeches at Divine Live Society were also inspiring.
