KAUAI, HAWAII, January 5, 2007: Hinduism Today would appreciate recommendations for web sites to review on its Digital Dharma page. We have over the years covered many major Hindu resources, and are looking for new ones that meet one or more of the following criteria: 1) have deep, unique and educational content of value to Hindus. 2) help Hindus globally. 3) offer useful resources for the Hindu lifestyle, even if not specifically religious or spiritually oriented, eg., technological advances, economic issues relevant to the Hindu community, health, family, diet related, etc. 4) are “news” in the sense that they are indicative of new trends or issues of importance that are showing upon the Internet or which have a significant message for humanity. 5) Sites previously reviewed which, after several years, have made major upgrades we should all be aware of.
We tend not to review sites that are commercial in nature, unless extraordinary, or that are highly localized or limited in interest. If you’d like to recommend one, first check at the source URL above that we have not already reviewed the same site, and if it new or deserves a new look, e-mail the URL to ar@hindu.org. If you are really ambitious, you can provide the review for us!
