PUNE, INDIA, August 1, 2007: Thousands of devotees gathered at the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune, on the occasion of Guru Purnima to pay their respects to their revered Guru and Master. This year, the sacred Guru Purnima coincided with the Annual Akhand Kirtan organized in connection with Rev. Dada J.P. Vaswani 89th Birthday celebrations. Several eminent singers and troops participated in the kirtan program which began with multi-faith prayers at 9 a.m. on Saturday, 28th June, and culminated on Sunday, 29th June with Rev. Dada’s Hindi Discourse. Dada paid a glowing tribute to the gifted singers and artists who had enabled thousands of listeners to take a holy dip in the Ganga of the Name Divine.
