MADURAI, INDIA, December 17: Incessant rains from Tuesday morning affected normalcy in Madurai, with rainwater entering the famous Sri Meenakshi temple and inundating the main streets around it.
The busy streets in the city including the market area were almost deserted. The Central market was also flooded.
