INDIA, October 27, 2008: The Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs (MOIA), in coordination with a specialist company called Indiaroots, is launching a program called “Tracing the Roots” to help persons of Indian origin anywhere in the world to trace their ancestry and locate living relatives.
Completed application forms, along with the US$500 fee, may be submitted to one’s local Indian Embassy. Any other useful information/document that could be helpful in tracing the roots may also be submitted with the application.
