ROBBINSVILLE, NEW JERSEY, USA, October 28, 2008: The Robbinsville planning board has unanimously approved plans for a five-building Hindu worship complex to be built by BAPS Swaminarayan.

The buildings will be erected on 37 acres of a 102-acre tract of vacant farmland located on Route 130 and North Main Street.

In response to concerns about increased traffic during holidays and special events, BAPS has agreed to hire police to direct traffic during these times. They further agreed to landscape the area so as not to be visible from Church Street. It’s estimated that the complex will take between five and seven years to complete.
