DEHRADUN, UTTARAKHAND, INDIA,January 16, 2009: Glen Copper, a British, who met his soulmate through internet, converted to Hinduism before deciding to tie a nuptial knot. Copper became a Hindu with a new name, Girish Kumar Arya, and married Bhavna Anand who was already in love with him.

The marriage took place at Luxman Chowk colony here yesterday with the parents of Bhavna, giving all their blessings to the newly wedded couple. The marriage was solemnised under Hindu rituals.

Bhavna said she fell in love with Copper few months ago through internet chatting. One day Copper landed in Dehradun and proposed to Bhavna, who without giving second thought agreed to it. “I talked to my parents, who also agreed to give blessings to both of us,” Bhavana said. And now, the couple has decided to live in the US.
