KOCHI, INDIA, June 9, 2009: The Arya Vaidya Nilayam Ayurvedic Healthcare group (AVN) is building a new state-of-the-art Ayurvedic hospital in Madurai, with specialities in preventive medicine, neurology, neuro-psychology and infertility.

Ramesh R Varier, Managing Director, said the 65-bed hospital complex is scheduled to open in October 2009 and will offer the detoxification therapies (Panchakarma), adapted to suit the need of the present hectic lifestyle, on an outpatient basis. “We believe in integrating modern diagnostic procedures with the traditional ayurvedic wisdom to attain precision in diagnosis and in delivering effective treatment.”
