JAMMU, INDIA, May 11, 2012 (ndtv.com): Criticizing the decision of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) to commence the Amaranth Yatra from June 25, an outfit of sadhus on Friday asked the Board headed by Governor N.N. Vohra to reconsider the issue and vowed to commence the pilgrimage from June 4.

“We want that SASB and the Governor in particular should reconsider their decision and announce the Amarnath Yatra from Jyeshth Purnima, which is falling on June 4,” Jammu and Kashmir Shatdarshan Sadhu Samaj president Mahant Mohan Bharti told reporters in Jammu.

“Sadhu Samaj shall start the yatra from Jyeshth Purnima on June 4 and the entire responsibility shall be solely of the Governor who is also the Chairman of SASB,” he said.
