DENPASAR, BALI, September 24, 2025 (NusaBali): The Director General of Hindu Community Guidance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, I Nengah Duija, along with Member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD), Ida Bagus Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra, inspected the condition of the Musen Watu Ireng Temple and the Luhur Dalem Mutering Jagat Temple, located in the Kesiman Traditional Village area, East Denpasar. The two temples were severely damaged by the floods that struck on September 10, 2025. During the visit, the Director General of Hindu Community Guidance, Nengah Duija, stated that the government, through the Ministry of Religious Affairs, remains committed to providing care for temples and places of worship affected by natural disasters. “The main focus is the restoration of religious functions and the preservation of the spiritual values of the Balinese Hindu community,” he said.
