KAUAI, HAWAII, June 3, 2026 (HPI): Hinduism Today magazine is planning a story in our next issue on the Hindu practice of maintaining a home shrine. For this, we’re seeking some personal testimony on the practice and meaning of the home shrine to individual Hindus. If you’d like to submit your story of 200 to 400 words or so along with a few photos of your shrine, please contact Sannyasin Saravananathaswami at sr@hindu.org. You can describe your daily pattern of worship, the participation of your family and/or the meaning of the shrine to you personally and your family historically. We are hoping to get a wide variety of traditions. Deadline is June 15. Note: We don’t promise to publish any particular submission.
