SANTIAGO, CHILI, August 9, 2025 (Facebook): Santiago Mandir (Santiago Hindu Temple and Cultural Center) organized the Bhumi Puja which will be the first Hindu temple and cultural center in Santiago, in the commune of La Reina. The Embassy had the pleasure of participating in this auspicious occasion together with authorities of the Presidency, the municipality of La Reina, numerous personalities and representatives of other religious denominations. The Government of Chile has given this land to the Indian Foundation for the creation of a spiritual and community center. Today’s event marked an auspicious beginning for the center, which will bring together Indian and Chilean communities in a spirit of collaboration and will be a space where cultures will converge and a foundation for progress rooted in spiritual wisdom.
