DUBAI, April 11, 2026 (Travels Dubai): A number of prominent places of worship across Dubai, including Hindu temples, churches and Sikh gurdwara, are reopening in phases between April 10 and April 12, restoring access for devotees following temporary closures implemented for safety and security reasons. The reopening marks a gradual return of religious activities across the city, with each institution operating under specific guidelines and controlled arrangements. Authorities have approved limited access at several sites, while worshippers are being guided through revised procedures for attendance, registration and participation. The phased resumption reflects a coordinated effort to restore regular religious services while ensuring regulated operations.
Dubai Hindu Temple reopened its doors to devotees from Friday, with visiting hours set between 6am and 6pm. The temple had been temporarily closed from April 3 following precautionary safety and security instructions. Its reopening has allowed worshippers to return for daily prayers and rituals. The Shri Krishna Temple Dubai will resume regular darshan from Saturday, April 11, as announced by the temple management committee. Devotees will once again be able to participate in scheduled worship following the temporary closure period. The reopening reinstates normal religious routines at the temple.
