LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA June 9, 2026 (press release): The next Hindu Mandir Empowerment Council and Priests’ Conference is to be held at the Jain Center of Southern California, 8072 Commonwealth Ave, Buena Park, California. It is comprised of 25 host/co-host temple, 175 temples, 250 temple executives, 80 speakers, 45 topics including the temple as a community center for youth and families. The vision of HMEC is to be a network of Hindu mandirs, temples, ashrams, gurudawras, derasars and organizations to preserve, protect and promote dharma and thereby help mandirs build effective and sustained leadership through generations by sharing best practices. HMEC seeks to represent the American Hindu community rooted in its traditions for the benefit of the entire community
