TEXAS, USA, September 4, 2005: According to press reports, 100,000 Hurricane Katrina refugees are lodged in hotels and motels in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia and adjacent states. Most of these hotels and motels are owned by Indians. One report coming to HPI said the businesses were taking in refugees for free for the time being.
