BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA, September 19, 2005: Swami Ramakrishnananda Puri, the senior disciple of Mataji Amritanandamayi, Ammachi, will arrive in Buenos Aires on the 23 of September invited by the Association Amrita Argentina. He is on a tour of Latin American countries of Argentina and Brazil. He is recognized as one of of India’s spiritual guides and considered the successor of a great woman saint like the Mother Teresa de Calcutta. Ammachi, a small and quiet Indian woman, has been christened the “Hugging Saint” for the way in which she salutes the poorest and the ill. Many miracles are attributed to her by her followers which number a million around the world. On September 23 Swami will offer a conference and classes of yoga and meditation at the Union General Armenia de Beneficiencia, located at Armenia 1322 5th Floor in the Buenos Airean barrio of Palermo. Entrance is free. A collection will be taken to benefit the children’s feeding center called Los Ninos Primero in the barrio of La Boca. On the 24th and 25th of September a free meditation seminar will be held by the swami at the Mariapolis Center at calle Capdevila 501, in the Jose C. Paz district.
