USA, October 14, 2005: Richard Cimino, researcher with the publication Religion Watch, makes this request: “I am writing my dissertation on the topic of religion and the applied sciences and technology. Part of this research is interviewing members of different religious traditions on how their faith impacts their work in technological fields. Hinduism seems uniquely adaptive to working in such hi-tech fields, and I want to interview Hindus on this topic. These interviews would last about an hour, and I would not use real names if the research is publicly presented or published. I would be interested in speaking with any Hindus working in engineering and the computer sciences and living in the New York/New Jersey area. Any Hindu professionals living in this area who want to participate may contact me at ‘source’ above.”
