KAUAI, HAWAII, January 26, 2006: The next edition of Hinduism Today (just starting it’s 3-month production cycle) will contain an Educational Insight section on Hindu Scriptures, drawn from the slokas and bhashyas of Dancing with Siva. The 16-page feature will contain 2 or more pages of inspiring, informative quotations from the Vedas, Agamas, Itihasas, Shastras, Vedangas, Upavedas, Yoga texts and devotional texts.
The Hinduism Today editorial staff is in need of help in selecting quotations, especially from certain works. We already have a wealth of representative verses from The Vedas. And we have a good selection from the Agamas, the Mahabharata and Bhagavad Gita and Dharma Shastras.
We could use help with selections from the Ramayana, as well as from the Puranas. Especially we need help in getting a few quotes from the Jyotisha scriptures, the Kalpa, Srauta and Sulba Sutra, etc., and a few from the the Upaveda category: Ayurveda, Dhanurveda, Gandharvaveda and Sthapatyaveda.
