Sivananda Ashram, Ahmedabad, is pleased to announce Pujya Swami Adhyatmanandaji’s “Divya Tour” to USA, Canada & UK (June 9, 2006 – August 30, 2006). Yoga, pranayam and meditation sessions in the morning and spiritual discourses in the evening are being organized all across the US, Canada and UK. Swamiji’s tour will commence on June 9, 2006 from Chicago. He will be visiting Detroit, Toronto, Toledo, Winnipeg, San Francisco, Corpus Christi (Texas), New Jersey, Charlotte (North Carolina), Atlanta, New Mexico, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles and Bloomington (Indiana).
The Divine Life Society was founded by H. H. Sri Swami Sivanandaji Maharaj in year 1936. Sri Swami Adhyatmanandaji is the beloved disciple of Society’s present president, H. H. Sri Swami Chidanandaji Maharaj. Swamiji embraced the life of mendicant on January 1, 1971, and was initiated in the Holy order of Sanyasa in the year 1974. Since then as per his worshipful Gurudev’s instructions he is continuously spreading the message of sages of the yore and sharing the knowledge of ancient cultural and scientific heritage of ancient India through yoga, pranayama, and meditation. So far, he has conducted 660 yogasana camps around the globe.
His discourses on the subjects like Gita, Upanishads, Srimad Bhagavat, etc., in most simple language have touched and inspired millions of listeners in last thirty-five years of his monastic life. His has worked with modern youth East and West to make them free from the vices of the drugs and its addictions.
