BANGALORE, INDIA, May 2, 2008: Koota Samaja Organizations Federation, a conglomerate of six associations representing Brahmins from Udupi district and living all over the country has come out with an agenda to help poor Brahmin children with scholarships for pursuing their education.
Mr. Herleru said the per capita income of Christians was US$38.52, Vokkaligas $22.54, Muslims $19.57, Scheduled Castes $16.76, but that of Brahmins was the lowest with $13.23 in the State.
