KOCHI, INDIA, February 14, 2009: Three panchaloha murthis, believed to be about 400 years old, were seized here from a three-member gang, who were arrested while trying to sell the the artifacts, police said.

The 16th century murthis of Nataraja, Goddess Saraswathi and Shiva-Parvathi are worth about US$10 million, according to Kochi city police commissioner Manoj Abraham. The murthis would be handed over to the Archaelogical Department after investigations are over, he said.
