DHARAMSALA, INDIA, April 6, 2009: A conference on world peace in Dharamsala happened on Sunday, organized by the voluntary group India Splendour. It focuses at the Indian View for Global Peace.’
Hindu spiritual leader, the Jagadguru Shankaracharya Swami Divyanand Teerthji Maharaj of Bhanpura Peeth, Buddhist leader Gyalwang Karmapa Orgyen Drodul Trinley Dorje, and many others attended the conference. The conference provided a platform where spiritual leaders spoke about world peace, compassion and what could be done to build religious harmony.
“This is the second conference on the Indian View for Global Peace and based on inter-connectedness.” said Tenzin, a Buddhist nun.
