KAPAA, HI, USA, May 26, 2009: For those attempting to find @HinduismToday on Twitter, you will unfortunately run into the fact that we do not show up on Twitter’s “people search” because their system has not yet indexed the account. For now, to follow us on Twitter you must go directly to our profile at http://twitter.com/HinduismToday and click the Follow button (this link did appear as source and at the end of the yesterday’s announcement but could have easily been missed). Twitter’s troubleshooting page states, “Sometimes new accounts take a little while to show up in user search, but it shouldn’t take more than a few hours.” While Hinduism Today’s account was created over a week ago, unfortunately it is still not showing up in the user search despite our request to Twitter support for assistance.
