LONDON, UK, May 27, 2009: The BBC’s Indian Election Express has stopped in Bhubaneswar in the state of Orissa – and visited the city’s historic Lingaraj temple.

The temple complex was built in the 11th Century and consists of over 150 smaller shrines around the main, 55-metre-high temple.

The temple is dedicated to the god Shiva, but almost all Hindu gods are represented on some area of the buildings.
