DELHI, INDIA, August 23, 2009: The Vice President of India Shri M. Hamid Ansari has greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the birth of Lord Ganesha who is the embodiment of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune.
In his message, Shri Ansari said that the festival marking the birth of Lord Ganesha is celebrated with traditional gaiety and fervor. The blessings of Lord Ganesha are solicited for spiritual and material success. Shri Ansari said, may the noble ideals of the festival prevails to establish lasting peace, prosperity and happiness in the society.
