MEXICO CITY, MEXICO, March 12, 2010: In response to recurring manifestations of strong interest in various facets of Indian culture among people in Mexico, an Indian Cultural Center is going to be set up in Mexico City.

The Cultural Center will be part of the Embassy of India in Mexico City, opening in April. The Indian Cultural Center will offer performances and exhibitions, classes, and training courses in various facets of Indian culture, including Indian dances and music-both classical and folk, Indian languages, cuisine, and Yoga. The endeavor will be to provide facilities for the specific arts that the people of Mexico want.
