The telenovela is one of the most successful internationally distributed tv products, sold to approximately 130 countries, as confirmed by the Brazilian company.
Globo TV International concluded its first agreement with TV3, Latvia. The channel, which is one of the largest in the Baltic country, bought distribution rights for the soap opera, winner of a 2009 International Emmy Award in the telenovela category.

With an investment of US$ 50 million for its 203 episodes, this is the telenovela with the highest production costs in the history of TV Globo, but it might turn out to be one of the most profitable.
