As a result of the renovations on the ceiling on the northern side of the temple, twenty Siva Lingams were temporarily removed in ceremony by temple priests to a safer location.  The new releases explain, &#8220;The work includes replacing a broken and damaged ceiling of northern corridor to a length of 26 meters and repairing a sunken corridor to a length of 65 meters. Skilled stone work masons have been employed for the purpose.
