After visiting various places which had suffered violence after the temple was desecrated, Mr. Kharge said the destruction of the mosque at Kutta in Virajpet taluk would also be included in the inquiry. Other recent incidents of violence in Kodagu would be investigated by the local police. With 15 mosques, two Idgahs, and a madarasa damaged in Kodagu between December 9 and 11, the district administration has sent a proposal seeking payment of compensation to the affected people. It is the government&#8217;s responsibility to rebuild or repair the temple said Mr. Kharge.
