On January 15th alone, fourteen million&#8211;some say 20 million&#8211;joined the Royal Bath at the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna and celestial Saraswati Rivers adjacent to the host city of Prayagraj (population a mere 1.5 million). It was the largest gathering of humans for one event in history. In attendance were India&#8217;s foremost religious leaders, hundreds of thousands of sadhus and millions of Hindus.
