KAUAI, HAWAII, April 18, 2020 (HPI): With help from our readers, we’ve assembled a preliminary list of temples that offer either continuous live streaming or live streaming of specific events during the day.<\/p>\n

By far the most intense is the famed Somnath temple in Gujarat, which live streams from the front of the inner sanctum 24\/7. When the temple is closed, you are looking at the doors, but otherwise have a view of the main Siva Lingam in its solid gold chamber. At first you may think it is a still image, but wait a minute and a priest will come and go.<\/p>\n

Kashi Vishwanatha in Banaras also streams 24\/7, from just above the central Siva Lingam so there is no time in the day where you can’t see it. As with Somnath, you may at first think your are looking at a still image, but if you watch closely, you’ll see the pot hanging from the ceiling and dripping water on the Siva Lingam gently swinging.<\/p>\n

Many of the smaller temples in the list below, of course, don’t offer such spectacular darshan, but still can be a way to keep your religious life vibrant when unable to leave the house.<\/p>\n
