\u201cThe garland cracker has been banned despite being a significant item. Garland crackers [up to 100 or more individual firecrackers woven together] are entirely handmade. When we are not able to produce them, workers lose their jobs. This work was performed by around 40 per cent of factory employees,\u201d one of the workers said.
