It is the only country outside Asia, where most Hindus are native and not immigrant. According to a recent report more than 150,000 people follow Hinduism in Ghana. Hindus in Africa are indigenous Africans as well as the Indian community. Hinduism was spread in Ghana through Swami Ghananand Saraswati.
