His journey included Chidambaram, Srirangam, Thanjavur, Madurai, Thirupparankundram, Rameswaram, Tiruchendur, Suchindram and Padmanabhaswamy Temple, among other sacred sites. He describes the pilgrimage as an interplay between human effort and what he experienced as Divine Grace.

At each temple Voleti reflects on a different dimension of Hindu spirituality: Siva as Nataraja at Chidambaram, surrender to Vishnu at Srirangam, the majesty of Brihadeeswara Temple, the Divine Mother at Madurai and Murugan at Thirupparankundram and Tiruchendur. At Rameswaram he bathed in the temple’s 22 sacred wells, while other stops brought encounters with traditions centered on Siva, Vishnu, Shakti, Murugan and Ganesha.

Source: https://www.hinduismtoday.com/magazine/july-august-september-2026/my-south-india-temple-tour/

CHENNAI, INDIA, July 1, 2026 (Hinduism Today): Dr. Choudary Voleti recounts a long-awaited 2023 pilgrimage through South India after spending,…

[1

post-23451","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news
["GET
