Over $14.8 million, much of it subsidies from the government of India, was spent by the Mission&#8217;s educational institutions imparting knowledge to nearly 170,000 students. Medical services rendered to more than 5,100,000 people through nine Mission hospitals and dispensaries cost $5,000,000.
