V.R. Rao of Vijayawada is already a minor legend among entrepreneurs for his success in marketing materials required for yagna (fire worship) and other rituals. His success story is narrated to management students. There are many not-so-well-known entrepreneurs who are also making a decent income from similar path-breaking and unconventional initiatives. Arun Viswanath of Secunderabad has been making a living by supplying flowers to households. He hit upon the idea after he found many of his relatives and neighbors complaining about non-availability of flower for the morning puja.
