As you are aware Amma is very concerned about true education &#8211; that all students should imbibe spiritual culture along with their secular education. It is to fulfill Amma&#8217;s vision and mission that all her schools under the banner of Amrita Vidyalayams have introduced a comprehensive course on Hinduism titled &#8220;Vedic Heritage Teaching Programme&#8221; developed by Swami Dayananda&#8217;s disciples of Arsha Vidya Gurukulam. To take this a step further, we would also like to introduce a course on culture and spirituality for students of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Deemed University. In order to put together a comprehensive curriculum for this course, we have convened a national symposium on &#8220;Cultural Education in 21st Century India&#8221; (see &#8220;source&#8221; above) to seek inputs from the best thinkers and educationists in the country.
